FAQsSome facts about Allegro Brio
Where is Allegro Brio based?
We are based on the internet, but physically operate in Bristol, in the west of England
How can I get you to do my/our website?
Get in contact with us through the Contact page on this site.
We'll get back to you, and in the course of a few emails, phone calls or meetings we'll decide between us exactly what it is you want. We'll come up with a quote (which you'll like!) and will start working on your site
Do you do it all?
We work in partnership with a few other designers, network people and accountants (not as odd as it may seem: most musicians don't have time for accountants, and some of our most important work is in giving financial tools to musicians). Together, we can build great, functional sites which will get people right to your concerts
Do you just do websites?
Yes and no. Yes, we do websites. But a website is far more than just a design. 'Content is king', they say, so when we're making a website with and for you we consider about what we're going to put on it in order to get the effect that you need, as much as we consider the design. Your website needs to drive people to your concerts, shop, school or whatever it is - we'll do our best to make sure that it delivers those people to you
What's your background?
We have degrees in Music, experience of newsstand journalism, a history of running large websites, a strong semi-professional music career and a good knowledge of the advertising and marketing world. You can trust us to know what you want
What software do you use?
Software with lots of acronyms: PHP, CSS, Ajax, MySQL, Javascript, XHTML, Apache. They are all absolutely standard web tools, tried and tested
How can we keep in touch with you?
Once we've agreed that we're going to make your site, we will give you special access to this site. You'll be able to log in and see how progress on your site is going, you'll be able to send us messages, read previous conversations and we'll be able to leave you messages
How about compatibility?
We test sites on a range of recent browsers and operating systems. We strive for W3C compatibility (which should ensure that a site is delivered correctly on a range of browsers and systems)
